2025: A Year of Stewardship, Strength, and Showing Up

For 2025, I chose Steward as my word of the year.

Not hustle. Not grind.

Steward — to care for what I’ve been given, to lead it well, to tend to my body, my time, my people, and my potential.

And wow… did this year deliver.

I asked my body to do hard things — and it answered.

• Trained for and competed in HYROX Boston

• Lined up for multiple 5Ks and 10Ks

• Took on two trail races (because pavement isn’t always enough…and I think I found my forever sport)

• Completed two half marathons

• Stepped onto the competition floor for a CrossFit competition with my friends

• Tried something completely new with aerial yoga — equal parts humbling and empowering

I asked my mind to stay curious — and it did.

• Read 75+ books, learning, escaping, growing with every page

I asked myself to lead with intention — and I rose to it.

• Grew my team at work

• Stepped into new leadership opportunities

• Joined The Dot, surrounding myself with women who challenge, inspire, and elevate

This year wasn’t about doing more for the sake of more.

It was about doing things with care.

Caring for my health.

Caring for my growth.

Caring for the people and spaces I’m responsible for.

Stewardship taught me that strength doesn’t have to be loud — but it does have to be consistent. And when you show up with intention, the results stack up in the most incredible ways.

Here’s to a year that stretched me, strengthened me, and reminded me just how capable I am.

Onward. ✨
